On Sunday, September 20, 2009, at approximately 12:25am, an officer, while on patrol at Speedway, North Leavitt Road, observed an unattended vehicle in the parking lot with loud thumping vulgar music coming from it. The officer located the operator, Anthony Lucky, age 20 of Amherst, and conducted an investigation. Mr. Lucky was arrested and charged with Underage Consumption, Open Container, Disorderly Conduct Intoxication, and Loud/Excessive Music. | |

On Tuesday, September 22, 2009, an officer was dispatched to the Target Store, Oak Point Road, in reference to a shoplifter complaint. Upon arrival, the officer met with store security who advised the suspect went into the men’s restroom. The officer located the male in question and an investigation was conducted. Josh Ison Jr., age 31 of Vermilion, was arrested and charged with Theft. | |

On Thursday, September 24, 2009, at 1:36am, an officer, while on patrol in the parking lot of Motel 6, North Leavitt Road, observed a vehicle parked in front of room 119 with the engine running and a female seated in the front passenger's seat. The officer stopped behind the vehicle for a short period of time and noticed very little movement from the female inside the vehicle. The officer approached the vehicle and made contact with the female, Lindsey Normando, age 19 of Wakeman. An investigation was conducted and Ms. Normando was issued a citation for Possession of Marijuana. | |

On Friday, September 25, 2009, at 12:31am, an officer, while on patrol in the City Parking Lot #1, observed a juvenile male exit the Pour House Bar and start running through the alley after seeing the officer. The juvenile was located and an investigation was conducted. The 16 year old was arrested and charged with Curfew, Unruly Child, Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Cocaine. He was transported to the Lorain County Detention. | |

On Friday, September 25, 2009, at 2:00pm, an officer was dispatched to the lobby of the Amherst Police station in regards to an assault complaint. Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainants who advised the juvenile female has been having problems recently with another student and was assaulted by her today. An investigation was conducted and the 16 year old female suspect was charged with Assault and Unruly Juvenile. | |

On Saturday, September 26, 2009, at 2:34am, an officer, while assisting other officers downtown in front of the Mermaid's Tale with several intoxicated males, advised another male, Corey Rose, age 30 of Avon Lake, to leave the area. Mr. Rose failed to comply and began using obscene and abusive language toward the officers. When the officers approached Mr. Rose, he resisted them and a struggle ensued. Mr. Rose was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct Persisting, Disturbing the Peace and Resisting Arrest. |
