On Sunday, September 13, 2009, at approximately 2:19am, officers were dispatched to McDonalds, North Leavitt Road, in reference juveniles in the drive thru line that were causing a disturbance and possibly intoxicated. Upon arrival, the vehicle was located and an investigation was conducted. The four juvenile occupants, ages 14, 16 and 17, were all charged with Underage Consumption and Curfew. | |

On Monday, September 14, 2009, at 11:40pm, an officer, while on patrol at Dairy Mart, Cleveland Avenue, observed a male enter through the front door stumbling from side to side and almost falling into a female that was checking out. The officer approached the male, Robert Kubic, age 40 of Amherst, after he exited the store and conducted and investigation. Mr. Kubic was cited for Disorderly Conduct Intoxication and given a ride home. | |

On Friday, September 18, 2009, at approximately 12:59am, an officer, while on patrol on Elyria and South Main Street, observed a vehicle that did not have a white light illuminating the rear license plate as required by law. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Melissa Partyka, age 18 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle after Underage Alcohol Consumption, Underage Consumption, and Illumination of rear license plate light. The passengers, Kayle Highsmith, age 18 of Amherst, and Hannah Becker, age 18 of Amherst, were issued citations for Underage Consumption. Carlie Falbo, age 18 of Lorain, was issued a citation for Underage Consumption and Open Container. | |

On Saturday, September 19, 2009, at approximately 12:30am, officers were in City Lot #3 with a group causing a disturbance. An investigation followed and an intoxicated female was found to be under the legal drinking age. The female, Sarah Wilburn, age 20 of Amherst, was charged with Underage Consumption, Obstructing Official Business, and Disorderly Conduct Intoxication. | |

On Saturday, September 19, 2009, at 1:04am, an officer was dispatched to the area in front of Cedar Pub, Park Avenue, in reference to a male that was witnessed urinating in the roadway. The officer observed the male in question stumbling on the sidewalk. The officer approached the male, Terry Cumberledge, age 40 of Lorain, and conducted an investigation Mr. Cumberledge was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct Intoxication and Possession of Marijuana. | |

On Saturday, September 19, 2009, at approximately 2:26am, officers were dispatched to the area of North Main Street and Habant Drive in regards to a possible accident that was called in by OnStar. Upon arrival, the officers located a truck sitting in a ditch on North Main Street and another vehicle sitting in the center of North Main Street. An investigation was conducted and the driver of the truck, Derek Nicol, age 36 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, State Refusal, Reckless Operation, and Marked Lanes. | |

On Saturday, September 19, 2009, at 11:21pm, officers were dispatched to Motel 6, North Leavitt Road, in reference to the desk clerk calling about room 117 having a large group of people in the room. Upon arrival, the officers made contact with the parties in the room and an investigation was conducted. Luis Colon, age 18 of Lorain, was charge with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana. Nelson Santiago, age 18 of Lorain, was charged with Underage Consumption. |
