On Sunday, October 18, 2009, at approximately 1:44am, an officer, while on patrol on West Martin Avenue, observed a vehicle that was running off the roadway to the right side of the vehicle several times. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Kelly Wilms, age 25 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .08%, Weaving, and Marked Lanes. | |

On Sunday, October 18, 2009, at approximately 3:15am, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Axtel Street in reference to an intoxicated male attempting to gain access to the residence. The male was reportedly stripping off his clothing while standing on the rear porch of the residence. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the male who was later identified as Jonathan Davis, age 21 of Vermilion. An investigation was conducted and Mr. Davis was transported by Life Care ambulance to Lorain Community Health Partner's. As a result of the investigation, Mr. Davis was charged with Disturbing the Peace, Criminal Damaging, and Disorderly Conduct. | |

On Monday, October 19, 2009, at approximately 5:41am, officers were dispatched to a residence on Middle Street in reference to a possible intoxicated male causing a disturbance and in possession of a knife. Upon arrival, the parties were located and an investigation was conducted. Dillon Starnes, age 18, Alexis Chervenak, age 19, and Susan Shernit, age 19, all of Amherst, were arrested for Underage Consumption. Jesse Collins, age 23 of Vermilion, was arrested for Sales to Underage Persons. | |

On Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at approximately 12:27am, officers were dispatched to Days Inn, North Leavitt Road, in reference to domestic violence complaint. Upon arrival, officer met with a male who advised he was assaulted by his wife. An investigation was conducted and the female, Susan Ralich, age 57 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence. | |

On Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at 10:25pm, officers were dispatched to Motel 6, North Leavitt Road, in reference to a Domestic Violence complaint. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant in the front lobby who advised she was assaulted by her fiancée. The female was visibly shaken and crying uncontrollably. An investigation was conducted and the male, James Pruce, age 40 of Elyria, was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence and Disrupting Public Service. | |

On Friday, October 23, 2009, at approximately 2:18am, officers, while on patrol downtown, observed several males yelling and cursing on Church Street. While attempting to investigate the problem, one of the males, Lamar Kimbro, age 21 of Lorain continued to curse and argue with officers. Mr. Kimbro, age of Lorain, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct Intoxication. |
