On Sunday, November 16, 2008, at approximately 1:34am, officers were dispatched to Denny's, North Leavitt Road in reference to a walk out on a bill and a possible fight in progress.  Upon arrival, officers located three intoxicated people who were found to have walked out on the bill without paying.  Officers also learned that a domestic fight had occurred between them as well.  An investigation was conducted and Tina Parker, age 28 of Elyria, was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence and Disorderly Conduct Intoxication.  Randall Foster, age 22 of Arizona, was arrested for Driving under Suspension and Brandon Vandersonmmen, age 32 of Elyria, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct Intoxication.

On Sunday, November 16, 2008, at approximately 3:14am, an officer, while on patrol on South Main Street and Park Avenue, observed a vehicle accelerate at a high rate of speed and squeal its tires causing the back end of the vehicle to slide on the pavement.  The officer also observed the vehicle weave from one side of the roadway to the other side and cross over the white line to the right side of the vehicle several times.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Jarrod Riddell, age 28 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, State Refusal, Weaving, Marked Lanes, and Reckless Operation.

On Monday, November 17, 2008, at approximately 8:00pm, an officer was dispatched to the Amherst Police Department lobby for a voyeurism complaint.  Upon arrival, the officer met with the victim who advised after she was done tanning at Monster Tan, she was applying lotion and noticed a male peering over the wall into her booth from an adjacent booth.  The victim yelled and the male stepped down.  The victim reported it to the store and was advised to call police.  An investigation was conducted and Robert Evans, age 48 of Amherst, was arrested for Voyeurism.

On Monday, November 17, 2008, at 8:57pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on Crown Hill in reference to a domestic violence complaint.  Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who advised her intoxicated girlfriend, Paula Duke, age 47 of Amherst, was arguing with her and became violent.  An investigation was conducted and Ms. Duke was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence.

On Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at 12:34am, an officer, while on patrol on Leavitt Road near Cooper Foster Park Road, observed a vehicle make an abrupt maneuver from the inside lane toward the outside lane almost striking a vehicle.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Jeremy Hura, age 28 of Elyria, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, State Refusal, Driving under Suspension, Speed, and Signals before Changing Course.  The passenger inside the car, Samantha Ehlke, age 29 of Elyria, was found to have an active bench warrant for her arrest out of the Elyria Police Department for Domestic Violence.  She was turned over to the Elyria Police Department on the warrant.

On Saturday, November 22, 2008, at 2:15am, officers were dispatched to City Parking Lot #3 in reference to a fight that had just occurred in the area.  Dispatch advised officers that some of the individuals involved in the altercation were inside of a white vehicle in the parking lot.  Upon arrival, the officers located the vehicle and contact was made with the occupants.  An investigation was conducted and Joshua Fortney, age 25 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Physical Control, Driving under Suspension, and Disorderly Conduct Intoxication.

On Saturday, November 22, 2008, at approximately 3:09am, officers were dispatched to Speedway, North Leavitt Road, in reference to a possible disabled vehicle where the occupants were allegedly "making a scene."  Upon arrival, contact was made with the parties and an investigation was conducted.  Tiffany Stanton, age 20 of Elyria, was issued a citation for Underage Consumption and released to a sober party.

On Saturday, November 22, 2008, at 8:25am, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Lincoln Street in reference to an unruly 14 year old female. Upon arrival, the officer met with the mother of the juvenile who advised the juvenile was arguing with her and packed her clothing in a bag and threatened to run away.  She also stated that the juvenile struck her 17 year old sister.  An investigation was conducted and the juvenile was cited for Unruly Child.
