On Monday, May 31, 2010, at approximately 1:55am, an officer, while on patrol near Drug Mart, observed a vehicle weaving from side to side within its southbound lane of travel and at one point veer sharply to the right and nearly struck the curb. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Aaron Cobb, age 24 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .170%, Weaving, and Loud Exhaust. | |

On Monday, May 31, 2010, at approximately 5:10pm, an officer was dispatched to the area of State Route 2 eastbound in regards to a vehicle operating in a reckless manor. Upon arrival into the area, the officer located the vehicle in question and initiated a traffic stop. An investigation was conducted and the driver, Jeffrey Milum, age 33 of Columbia Station, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated and Weaving. | |

On Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at approximately 12:18 pm, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Linn Road in reference to two unknown dogs in the backyard. Upon arrival the officer met with the complainant who advised two dogs came into her yard and became very aggressive. An investigation was conducted and the dog owner, Laura Adkins, age 21 of Lorain, was issued a citation for Dog at Large. | |

On Wednesday, June 2, 2010, an officer was dispatched to the Amherst Junior High, Milan Avenue, in reference to a student activating a fire alarm and causing a false alarm. On arrival, the officer met with the Assistant Principal who advised he reviewed the video footage and believes one of the 8th graders pulled the alarm. An investigation was conducted and a 14 year old male student was issued a citation for Making False Alarms. | |

On Thursday, June 3, 2010, at approximately 4:11am, officers were dispatched to the Middle Ridge Road Turnpike Plaza, Middle Ridge Road, in regards to four males that were said to be panhandling and bothering workers by asking for money and or drugs. Upon arrival, the officers observed a vehicle exiting the employee parking lot with four males matching the description given by the employees. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Joshua Butler, age 25 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated and BAC over .08%. | |

On Thursday, June 3, 2010, at 11:53pm, an officer, while on patrol on Church Street and Maple Avenue, observed a vehicle weaving within it's lane of travel. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Stephen Daidone, age 47 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .08%, and Weaving. | |

On Saturday, June 5, 2010, at approximately 2:21am, an officer, while on patrol downtown, observed a vehicle back out of a parking space and begin to travel in the wrong direction on Park Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver George Rucker Jr., age 28 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .08%, and Starting and Backing. |
