On Sunday, May 13, 2007, at approximately 3:54am, officers were dispatched to the Amherst Hospital, Cleveland Avenue, in reference to an assault complaint. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the complainant who advised he was assaulted by Ryan Rodriguez, age 24 of Amherst. An investigation was conducted and a warrant was issued. Mr. Rodriguez was later arrested and charged with Felonious Assault. | |

On Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at 1:50am, an officer, while on patrol on South Main Street, observed a vehicle weaving within it's lane of travel and also travel onto the center double yellow line. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Robin Loving-Ramos, age 48 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, State Refusal, Weaving, and Marked Lanes. | |

On Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at approximately 10:27pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on West Martin Avenue, in reference to a possible burglary. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the resident who advised she came home and found the neighbor lady inside of her home. An investigation was conducted and at the request of the complainant, the female was advised not to return on the property. A report was made for file. | |

On Thursday, May 17, 2007, at approximately 9:08am, an officer was dispatched to Sprenger Park in reference to a criminal mischief complaint. Upon arrival, the officer observed tire and “donut” marks from an unknown vehicle in the newly seeded area. A report was made for file and extra patrol of the area was requested. There are no suspects at this time. | |

On Thursday, May 17, 2007, at approximately 11:45pm, officers were dispatched to the Big Eaze bar, Park Avenue, in reference to a fight in progress inside of the bar involving a knife. Upon arrival, officers located the males involved and an investigation was conducted. One of the males, David Mills, age 35 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Assault. | |

On Friday, May 18, 2007, at approximately 11:09pm, an officer, while on patrol on North Main Street, located two females who appeared to be in violation of curfew. An investigation was conducted and it was learned both females were 15 years old and one had consumed alcoholic beverages. They were both issued a citation for Curfew and an additional charge of Underage Consumption for the juvenile who had been drinking. |
