On Sunday, March 21, 2010, at approximately 3:35am, officers responded to Denny's, North Leavitt Road, in reference a group of intoxicated customers refusing to leave.  Upon arrival, the parties involved were found to be intoxicated and told to leave.  One female of the intoxicated party continued to yell and argue with officers and refused to leave.  She also became angry and belligerent towards officers.  Tane Lorenzana, age 30 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct Persisting, Disorderly Conduct Intoxication and Misuse of 911 Emergency Line.

On Monday, March 22, 2010, at approximately 5:38am, officers were dispatched to Denny's, North Leavitt Road, in reference to several people involved in an altercation.  Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted and a male was found to have assaulted another male in the parking lot.  The suspect male, Steve Williams, age 21 of Lorain, was arrested for Assault.

On Monday, March 22, 2010, at 6:54pm, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Meadowview Lane in regards to a telecommunications harassment complaint.  Upon arrival, the officer met with the victim and an investigation was conducted.  The suspect Eli Naro, age 36 of Lorain, was later arrested for Telecommunications Harassment.     

On Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at approximately 11:55 pm, an officer, while on patrol on Milan Avenue near the intersection of North Lake Street observed a vehicle traveling at a speed of 45 mph in a posted 25 mph.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Brian Terry, age 35 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, State Refusal, and Speed. 

On Thursday, March 25, 2010 at approximately 4:22pm, an officer was dispatched to Marion L. Steele High School, Washington Street, in regards to a menacing complaint.  Upon arrival, the officer met with the Principal who advised that he had begun an investigation into a complaint that a student was going to possibly bring a gun to school.  An investigation was conducted and the 15 year old male and his 15 year old sister were arrested and charged with Inducing Panic. 

On Friday, March 26, 2010, at 1129:pm, an officer, while on patrol downtown, observed a male sitting on the concrete bench in front of RC’s Brewhouse talking on his cell phone and drinking from a Budweiser beer bottle.  The officer made contact with the male and conducted an investigation.   Nicholas Thomas, age 22 of Vermilion, was cited for Open Container. 

On Saturday, March 27, 2010, at approximately 12:09am, an officer, while on patrol near the five points intersection, observed a vehicle straddling the center double yellow line.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Renee Phillips, age 32 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, State Refusal, Marked Lanes, and Weaving Course. 

On Saturday, March 27, 2010, at 12:27am, an officer, while on patrol on Middle Ridge Road and Elyria Avenue, observed a vehicle that failed to stop at the posted stop sign.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Christine Nance, age 27 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .08%, and Stop Sign.
