On Sunday, March 14, 2010, at approximately 1:57am, officers were dispatched to a residence on Forest Street in reference a possible vandalism complaint. Upon arrival, the officer observed a male running out of the front door and made contact with him. The male was found to be intoxicated and had just vandalized the entire residence. Joseph Guadalupe, age 36 of Amherst, was arrested for Vandalism, Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct Persisting, and Disorderly Conduct Intoxicated. | |

On Monday, March 15, 2010, at approximately 12:38am, an officer, while on patrol on Church Street and Park Avenue, observed a vehicle turn onto Park Avenue heading eastbound where the roadway is a one way street for westbound traffic only. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Derek Nicol, age 36 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Driving under Suspension, State Refusal, One Way Street, and Weaving Course. | |

On Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at approximately 11:23pm, an officer, while on patrol on North Ridge Road, observed a vehicle facing westbound in the eastbound lanes of travel with another car facing eastbound in front of it. One of the vehicles had heavy front end damage and it appeared as though there was a head on collision. After further investigation, it was learned that the vehicle had passed another vehicle and lost control striking the guard rail. The driver, Brian Myers, age 19 of Oberlin, was arrested and charged with Underage Consumption, Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, Failure to Control and Passing in No Passing Zone. | |

On Wednesday, March 17, 2010, officers were dispatched to a residence South Lake Street in reference a domestic violence complaint. Upon arrival, officers spoke the involved parties and conducted an investigation. The intoxicated primary physical aggressor, Trent Perchinsky, age 20 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence. | |

On Tuesday March 17, 2010, at 10:13pm, an officer observed a vehicle traveling south bound on Jackson Street strike the curb after passing over the bridge near the Nordson Corporation. The driver also did not use a directional signal when turning left onto Elyria Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Gerald Lunato, age 57 of Vermilion, was arrested and charged with BAC over .08, Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, and Failure to Control. | |

On Thursday, March 18, 2010, at 1:09am, an officer, while on patrol at the intersection of Cooper Foster Park Road and North Main Street, observed a vehicle driven by a male with a suspended license. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Fabian Quiles, age 37 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .08%, Failure to Reinstate, and License Plate Light. | |

On Thursday, March 18, 2010, at approximately 2:37pm, officers were dispatched to Target, Oak Point Road, regarding a theft complaint. Upon arrival, officers met with Loss Prevention and an investigation was conducted. Jeffrey Ockajik, age 35 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Theft. | |

On Thursday, March 18, 2010, at approximately 3:57pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on Lincoln Street regarding a domestic violence complaint. Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted and it was determined that the adult son, Jack Denney, age 37 of Amherst, had become the primary physical aggressor against the father. Mr. Denney was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence. | |

On Thursday, March 18, 2010, officers were dispatched to Amherst Hospital, Cleveland Avenue, in reference to a menacing complaint. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who advised he was confronted by two males and threatened. An investigation was conducted and the suspects, Andrew Krieg, age 18 of Amherst, and Joshua Hamilton, age 18 of Amherst, were later arrested and charged with Menacing. | |

On Saturday, March 20, 2010, at approximately 3:04am, officers, while on patrol at Motel 6, North Leavitt Road, observed two occupied vehicles sitting in the middle of the parking lot. As the officers approached the vehicles, they quickly pulled away and into a parking space. Contact was made with the occupants of both vehicles and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Allison Frey, age 18 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating Vehicle after Underage Consumption, Driving under Suspension, Underage Consumption, and Open Container. A passenger, Amanda Hennes, age 18 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Underage Consumption, Possession Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia. The other passengers, Luzimilda Figueroa, Nicole Ehman, Raquel Rivera, Iviaenid Figueroa, Luis Colon, and Isaha Rodriquez, all age 18 of Lorain, were charged with Underage Consumption. |
