On Sunday, June 7, 2009, at 1:55am, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Elyria Avenue in reference to a male stating he was assaulted by a female.  Upon arrival, the officer observed a female crying and yelling at a male.  The officer spoke to both parties and conducted an investigation.  The female, Kortney Spears, age 20 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Assault, Underage Consumption, Disturbing the Peace and Disorderly Conduct Intoxication. 

On Monday, June08, 2009, at approximately 1:37am, an officer, while on patrol downtown, observed a vehicle going the wrong direction on a one way street.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Richardo Placencia, age 47 of Michigan, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Driving under Suspension, State Refusal, and One Way Street.

On Monday, June 8, 2009, officers were dispatched to the area of Columbia Drive in reference to a male soliciting without a permit.  Upon arrival, the officers located the male, Scott Young, age 21 of Montana, who was unable to provide a permit.  Mr. Young was issued a citation for Soliciting.

On Monday, June 8, 2009, at approximately 6:00pm, an officer was dispatched to the area of North Woodhill Drive and Birch Lane in reference to two males soliciting for an alarm company.  The complainant advised that one of the males also asked for money for tolls so they could return home.  Upon arrival, the officer located the two males and conducted an investigation.  James Bellanger, age 19 of Oregon, was issued a citation for Soliciting without a Permit.

On Saturday, June 13, 2009, at approximately 2:13am, an officer was advised by another officer that there was about to be a fight in front of Quesadilla's Restaurant, Church St.  Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted and Julie Ortiz Morales, age 28 of Lorain, was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct.
