On Sunday, June 21, 2009, at approximately 1:20am, officers were dispatched to Motel 6, North Leavitt Road, in reference to a loud noise complaint.  According to the desk clerk, she had received complaints that there possibly was a party going on in one of the rooms.  Upon arrival, officers made contact with the occupants and an investigation was conducted.  Brianna Little, age 18 of Vermilion, and Dominique Lee, age 18 of Lorain, were charged with Underage Consumption.  Ms. Little was also charged with Sales to Underage Persons.

On Sunday, June 21, 2009, at approximately 2:49am, an officer, while on patrol on Cleveland Avenue and Church Street, observed a vehicle operating recklessly and at a very high rate of speed.  After what appeared to be an attempt to elude the officer, a traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Todd Rothman, age 23 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .08, Reckless Operation, Stop Sign 3 counts, and Turn Signal 3 counts.

On Friday, June 26, 2009, at approximately 10:20pm, officers were dispatched to North Quarry Road in reference to an injury accident.  Upon arrival, officers located the 17 year old driver of the vehicle and checked on his welfare.  An investigation was conducted and the juvenile was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle after Underage Alcohol Consumption, Underage Consumption, Reckless Operation, No Driver's License, and Destruction of Trees and Shrubs.

On Saturday, June 27, 2009, at approximately 2:21am, an officer, while on patrol on Cleveland Avenue, performed a random registration check and learned the owner had a suspended driver’s license.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Jose Cruz, age 21 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Driving under Suspension, BAC over .170%,  and Turning at Intersections.

On Saturday, June 27, 2009, an officer conducted a random registration check on a vehicle's license plate at the Ohio Turnpike Plaza.  The vehicle returned as a stolen vehicle out of New York City, NY.  The operator of the vehicle, Shandell Wallace, age 38 of Michigan, was located and an investigation was conducted.  Ms. Wallace was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property.
