On Sunday, June 10, 2007, at approximately 1:47am, an officer, while on patrol in the area of Cleveland Avenue and Axtel Street, observed a vehicle weaving from side to side on the roadway and crossed over the center double lines several times.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Jerami Sterna, age 25 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .170%, Weaving, and Marked Lanes.

On Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at approximately 5:20pm, an officer was dispatched to the Amherst Police Department in reference to a missing juvenile complaint.  Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant who stated her daughter left the house after getting into an argument with her about smoking marijuana and she received information that her daughter would be going to Cedar Point.  That information was relayed to the Cedar Point Police Department, and the juvenile was located.  The juvenile was issued a citation for Unruly Child.

On Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at approximately 7:00pm, an officer was dispatched to Motel 6 for a private property accident.  Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the male and female occupants of one of the vehicles involved.  An investigation was conducted and the driver, William Crabtree, age 44 of Spencer, was arrested and charged with  Felony Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated (7th offense) , State Refusal, Possession of Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia.  The passenger, Sha Marie Crabtree, age 41 of Arkansas, was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct Persisting, Disorderly Conduct Intoxication, and Littering.

On Thursday, June 14, 2007, at 3:11am, an officer, while on patrol near Motel 6, observed a vehicle strike a curb, fail to signal a turn, and make a u-turn in the middle of State Route 58.  Due to the violations, a traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Tiffany Rivera, age 38 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, State Refusal, Safety Belt, U-Turn, and No Turn Signal.

On Thursday, June 14, 2007, at 6:33pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on Nicole Drive in reference to a juvenile complaint.  Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who explained how the juvenile was behaving. Based on the juvenile's actions towards officers and the witness statements, the juvenile was issued a citation for Unruly Juvenile.

On Friday, June 15, 2007, at approximately 1:19am, an officer was dispatched to Denny's, North Leavitt Road, in reference to a harassment complaint.  Upon arrival, the officer spoke to he complainant who stated that two females were harassing a female employee.  An investigation was conducted and three juveniles were issued citations for Curfew.

On Friday, June 15, 2007, at approximately 2:56am, an officer copied radio traffic from a Lorain Police unit stating he had a vehicle stopped at Speedway, North Leavitt Road, for traveling the wrong way on North Leavitt Road.  Upon arrival, the officer met with the Lorain Police unit and an investigation was conducted.  The 17 year old driver from Vermilion was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .08%, Underage Consumption, Curfew, and One Way Street.  The juvenile passenger was issued a citation for Underage Consumption, Curfew, and Prohibitions Tobacco Products.

On Friday, June 15, 2007, at approximately 6:10pm, an officer was dispatched to Wyvill's Marathon, Cleveland Avenue, in reference to an adult purchasing cigarettes for juveniles.  Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the caller who advised he witnessed several children on bicycles around a vehicle parked at a gas pump.  The caller witnessed the driver enter the store and purchase two packs of cigarettes and give the cigarettes to the juveniles on the bicycles.  An investigation was conducted and the driver, Steven Partridge, age 18 of Amherst, was issued a citation for Permitting Children to Use Cigarettes.  The juveniles fled the area before the officer arrived.

On Saturday, June 16, 2007, at approximately 1:57am, an officer, while on patrol, observed a vehicle driving reckless in the Motel 6 parking lot.  The officer initiated a traffic stop and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Jeffrey Fraley, age 44 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, DUS, BAC Over .170%, Possession Marijuana, Open Container, and Reckless Operation.
