On Sunday, July 22, 2007, at 7:24sm, an officer was dispatched to Harris School, South Lake Street, in reference to males sleeping on the playground. Upon arrival, three male juveniles were located. An investigation was conducted and the juveniles were cited for Unruly Juvenile. | |

On Monday, July 23, 2007, at approximately 10:46pm, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Cleveland Avenue in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant who advised someone stole his bike off of his porch. The bike is described as a newer black and red Huffy mountain bike. An investigation was conducted and a report was made for file. | |

On Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at 12:52pm, officers were dispatched to the area of North Ridge Road and North Dewey Road in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who stated his truck had been struck by a rock thrown by a juvenile. The complainant observed the juvenile and two other juveniles run from the area. All three were later located. An investigation was conducted and the juveniles were cited for Criminal Damaging and Unruly Juvenile. | |

On Thursday, July 26, 2007, at 12:39am, an officer was dispatched to Arby's Restaurant, Cooper Foster Park Road, in reference to an intoxicated male in the drive thru line. An employee of the restaurant advised he was able to smell alcohol and that he had trouble understanding what the male was saying. Upon arrival, the officer located the vehicle in question and initiated a traffic stop. The driver, Robert Laws, age 36 of Lorain, exhibited signs of being intoxicated and was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia, Open Container, and Consumption in a Motor Vehicle. | |

On Friday, July 27, 2007, at approximately 5:10am, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Killdeer Court in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant who advised someone took items out of his car during the night. An investigation was conducted and a report was made for file. | |

On Friday, July 27, 2007, at approximately 4:05pm, an officer was dispatched to the Amherst Police Department in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant who advised that her purse was stolen out of her car overnight. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken for file. | |

On Friday, July 27, 2007, at 8:26pm, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Pearl Street in reference to a criminal damage and theft complaint. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the complainant who advised someone cut the small child-size pool in his backyard. He also stated his paycheck was missing out of his vehicle that was parked in his driveway. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken for file. | |

Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant who advised someone threw a rock through his back sliding door while he was sitting in the other room. An investigation was conducted and a report was made for file. |
