On Sunday, July 11, 2010, at 7:30pm, officers were dispatched to Amherst Hospital in regards to an intoxicated visitor. After arrival, an investigation was conducted and the female, Brittany Findley, age 23 of Lorain, was arrested for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Criminal Tools, Disorderly Conduct Intoxication, Child Endangering and Vandalism. | |

On Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at approximately 12:16am, officers responded to a residence on Elyria Avenue in reference to a noise complaint where the occupants were being loud and was pounding on the walls. Upon arrival, the officers made contact with two males standing outside. One of the males, Robert Delfosse, age of Amherst, had an active warrant out of the Lorain County Sheriff’s Department and was taken into custody. During this time, a vehicle pulled up and two females, Melissa Villafane, age 22 of Amherst, and Kasandra Delfosse, age 28 of Amherst, exited the vehicle yelling and screaming at the officers. An investigation was conducted and Ms. Villafane and Ms. Delfosse were arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct Intoxication and Disturbing the Peace. | |

On Thursday, July 15, 2010, at 2:07am, an officer, while on patrol at the intersection of Park Avenue and Church Street, observed a vehicle that failed to utilize its turn signal when negotiating a turn and traveling at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Jonathan Sedley, age 25 of Huron, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Turn Signal, Speed, Weaving, and Marked Lanes. | |

On Friday, July 16, 2010, at 1:39am, an officer, while on patrol downtown, observed an intoxicated male seated on the concrete bench in front of RC’s bar who was yelling vulgar comment to the officer. The officer made contact with the male, Nyan Kendrick, age 32 of Missouri, and conducted an investigation. Mr. Kendrick was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct Intoxication. | |

On Friday, July 16, 2010, at 11:26pm, an officer, while on patrol on Cleveland Avenue, observed a male riding on a bicycle with no lights. The officer stopped the male, Charles Hall, age 19 of Amherst, and conducted an investigation. Mr. Hall was cited for Possession of Marijuana and Lights On Bicycles. | |

On Friday, July 16, 2010, at approximately 11:59pm, an officer, while on patrol near the Amherst Hospital parking lot, could hear loud bass reverberation coming from a vehicle that was parked in the rear lot of the First Merit Bank on Cleveland Avenue. The officer approached the vehicle and conducted an investigation. The driver, Gavin Simpson, age 26 of Lorain, was issued a citation for Excessive Noise. | |

On Saturday, July 17, 2010, at approximately 3:11am, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Elyria Avenue in reference a disturbing the peace complaint. Two separate complaints were phoned in to the police department about this residence. Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted and the homeowner, John Horn, age 24, was cited for Disturbing the Peace. | |

On Saturday, July 17, 2010, at approximately 7:40pm, an officer, while working a security detail at the St. Joe's social hall, observed three males exit the front door, one of which was holding a brown bottle. The male, Drew Moore, age 18 of Amherst, was issued a citation for Obstructing Official Business. |
