On Monday, January 7, 2008, at 11:58pm, an officer, while on patrol on Church Street near RC's Brewhouse, observed a group of females and males standing outside of the bar.  One of the females, later identified as Deborah Brewer, age 25 of Lorain, was yelling obscenities at several males and was attempting to get at the males, but two other females were holding her back.  Ms. Brewer was enticing the males to fight and she was acting in a violent and turbulent manner.  Ms. Brewer was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication, Disturbing the Peace, and Disorderly Conduct Persisting.

On Monday, January 7, 2008, at approximately 11:58pm, an officer, while in the area of RC's Brewhouse, Church Street, observed a highly intoxicated female, later identified as Denise Kozich, age 28 of Lorain, being loud and unruly.  Ms. Kozich was told several times to cease here behavior.  Ms. Kozich ignored the officers warning and was placed under arrest and charged with Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct Intoxication, and Disorderly Conduct Persisting.

On Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at 12:40am, an officer was dispatched to Ziggy's, Park Avenue, in reference to a report of an intoxicated female causing problems at the bar.  While enroute, dispatch advised that the female entered a vehicle and was attempting to leave.  Upon arrival, the officers located the vehicle and observed it travel over the sidewalk and almost strike the storefront of Dinsmoore Insurance, Park Avenue.  The officer initiated a traffic stop and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Constance Ross, age 22 of Elyria, was arrested charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Disorderly Conduct Persisting, Disorderly Conduct Intoxicated, and Failure to Control.  The passenger, Ailise Jacobs, age 23 of North Ridgeville, was charged with Disorderly Conduct Persisting, and Disorderly Conduct Intoxicated.

On Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at approximately 12:20sm, officers were dispatched to St. Peter's Church, Church Street, in reference to a theft from a vehicle complaint.  Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted and a male, Steven Hewitt, age 21 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Complicity to Theft, Criminal Trespass, and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.  A 15 year old juvenile was arrested and charged with Theft, Criminal Trespass, Criminal Damage, Unruly Child, and Curfew.

On Saturday, January 12, 2008, at approximately 12:25am, an officer, while on patrol in the area of East Street and Elyria Avenue, observed a vehicle weaving from side to side within its lane of travel and run through the red light at the intersection.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Maryann Funk, age 50 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .170%, Red Light, and Weaving.
