On Sunday, January 31, 2010, at approximately 12:51am, officers who were investigating a complaint at Motel 6, North Leavitt Road, observed loud music coming from room # 124 that could be heard from approximately fifty feet away and also observed a very strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the same area.  Contact was made with the occupants and an investigation was conducted.  After a lengthy investigation, the female renter of the room, Amanda Caraballo, age 20 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace, Underage Consumption, Sales to Underage Persons, Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Crack Cocaine, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, and Defrauding a Rental Agency or Holstery.  Other adults cited were Deana Smith, age 18 of Lorain, for Disturbing the Peace, Latasha Kimbro, age 20 of Lorain, for Underage Consumption, and Disturbing the Peace, Nicholas Shores, age 18 of Lorain, for Disturbing the Peace, Tommesha Noel, age 20 of Elyria, for Underage Consumption, and Disturbing the Peace, Tommie Richardson, age 19 of Lorain, for Defrauding a Rental Agency or Holstery, Underage Consumption, and Disturbing the Peace, and Ieashian Edwards, age 18 of Elyria, for Underage Consumption, and Disturbing the Peace.  Also in the room were six juveniles ages 15 and 17.  Their charges included Underage Consumption, Obstructing Official Business, Disturbing the Peace, and Curfew.

On Monday, February 1, 2010, at approximately 10:01pm, officers were dispatched to the Five Points area of downtown in reference an intoxicated male who was bleeding and causing a disturbance.  Officers were advised the male was yelling at vehicles as they drove by and was stumbling in the middle of the roadway.  Upon arrival, the intoxicated male, David Tremaine age 49 of Elyria, was located and found to be causing a disturbance.  An investigation was conducted and Mr. Tremaine was arrested and charged with Obstructing Official Business, Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct Persisting, and Walking Highways Intoxicated.

On Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at 12:25am, an officer, while on patrol on Cleveland Avenue near North Leavitt Road, observed a vehicle traveling in an erratic manner and weaving within it's lane of travel from the center double yellow line back towards the curb.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Keith Muskiewicz, age 52 of Elyria, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, OVI State Refusal, Weaving, and Driving in Marked Lanes.

On Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at 10:57pm, an officer, while on patrol on Park Avenue and Church Street, observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on the one way street.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.   The driver, Emanuel Feier, age 30 of Sheffield Village, was arrested and charged with Driving Under Suspension, Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Bac over .08% and One Way Street.

On Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 11:04pm, an officer, while on patrol in the parking lot of Motel 6, North Leavitt Road, performed a random registration check on a vehicle that was parked in the lot.  After receiving the response from LEADS, it was learned that the vehicle owner, William Henson, age 48 of Vermilion, had an active entered warrant for his arrest out of the Sheffield Village Police Department.  Officers made contact with Mr. Henson at his room and conducted an investigation.  Mr. Henson was arrested and charged with Drug Abuse Cocaine, and Drug Abuse Instrument.  A female occupant of the room, Shannon Kennelly, age 36 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Drug Abuse Cocaine, Drug Abuse Instrument, and Tampering with Evidence.

On Saturday, February 6, 2010, at approximately 11:54pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on Crosse Avenue in reference to a large party and noise disturbance.  Upon arrival, officers located several individuals and conducted an investigation.  The homeowner, Eric Sanders, age 37 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstructing Official Police Business and Disorderly Conduct.  A 17 year old male and a 16 year old female were charged with Underage Consumption and Prohibition Related to Tobacco Products.  Tyler Watson, age 18 of Wakeman, and a 16 year old male were charged with Obstructing Official Business and Underage Consumption.  Further investigation is being done into this case and further charges are pending.
