On Monday, February 8, 2010, at approximately 12:05am, an officer, while on patrol on Linn Drive and Cooper Foster Park Road, observed a vehicle traveling at what appeared to be a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Gavin Simpson, age 25 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Speed, State Refusal, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Marijuana. | |

On Monday, February 8, 2010, at 9:41pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on North Ridge Road in regards to a domestic violence complaint. Upon arrival, the officers met with both parties and conducted an investigation. Mark Dalton Jr., age 24 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence. | |

On Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at approximately 1:00am, officers responded to the area of North Main Street and Brookside Drive in reference to a complaint of loud music coming from a residence. Upon arrival, the officers located the house in question and could clearly hear the loud music. Contact was made with the occupants of the residence and an investigation was conducted. Anthony Moreno Jr., age 21 of Amherst, was issued a citation for Unnecessary Excessive Noise (Loud Music) and Sales to Underage Persons. Brooke M. Raycher, age 20 of Amherst, and Ross Cogan, age 19 of Amherst, were cited for Underage Consumption. Two 17 year old females were also charged with Underage Consumption and Prohibition relating to Tobacco Products. | |

On Thursday, February 11, 2010, at 1:23am, officers were dispatched again to the residence on North Main Street in regards to a loud noise complaint. Officers responded to the same residence for the same complaint on the previous night of 2/10/10 around the same time. Contact was made with the occupants and an investigation was conducted. Anthony Moreno Jr., age 21, was issued a citation for Unnecessary Excessive Noise (Loud Music). | |

On Friday, February 12, 2010, at 2:50am, an officer, while on patrol on Church Street and Tenney Avenue, observed a vehicle fail to make a complete stop at the intersection and weave within its lane of travel. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver, Shawn Trifiletti, age 23 of Amherst , was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .170%, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia, Weaving, and Stop Sign. | |

On Friday, February 12, 2010, at 11:25pm, an officer, while on patrol at Dairy Mart, Cleveland Avenue, observed a vehicle with an expired registration pulling into a parking space in front of the store. Contact was made with the drive, Michael Guggenbiller, age 29 of Amherst, and an investigation was conducted. Mr. Guggenbiller was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .08%, Driving under Suspension, and Expired Plates. | |

On Saturday, February 13, 2010, at approximately 2:30am, an officer, while on patrol on Cooper Foster Park Road near Burger King, observed a vehicle weaving and cross over the double yellow lines to the left side of the vehicle several times. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The driver Gregory Moore, age 41 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Felony Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Driving under Suspension, State Refusal, Weaving, Marked Lanes, and Open Container. |
