On Sunday, February 11, 2007, at approximately 3:28am, officers were dispatched to the Amherst Hospital, Cleveland Avenue, in reference to an intoxicated male passed out in the emergency registry room. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the male, Christopher Moon, age 24 of Oberlin, and an investigation followed. The incident escalated with Mr. Moon and he was arrested and charged with three counts of Intimidation, Obstructing Official Business, Disorderly Conduct Persisting, and Disorderly Conduct Intoxication. | |

On Sunday, February 11, 2007, at approximately 1:51pm, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Park Avenue in reference to a harassment complaint. Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant who advised someone posted a harassing sign on his property and wanted the matter documented. An investigation was conducted and a report made for file. | |

On Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at 11:19pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on Jackson Street in reference to a domestic dispute complaint. Upon arrival, the officers spoke to the mother and juvenile daughter and learned that the verbal dispute was over money. An investigation was conducted and it was determined the dispute never turned physical. A report was made for file. | |

On Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at approximately 11:05pm, officers were dispatched to Giant Eagle, Kresge Drive, in reference to a male shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, the officers met with the store manager and the juvenile suspect and an investigation was conducted. The juvenile was arrested and charged with Theft, Underage Consumption, and Possession of Marijuana | |

On Thursday, February 15, 2007, at approximately 2:12pm, Sgt Cawthon and K-9 Bandit were requested to assist the Adult Parole Authority at a residence in Westwoods Mobile Home Park. K-9 Bandit alerted to several areas in the residence. Adult Parole was notified of the findings and the case was turned over the Lorain County Sheriffs Office. | |

On Friday, February 16, 2007, at 12:57pm, an officer was dispatched to a residence on East Martin Street in reference to a female arguing with her grandparents. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to both parties involved and learned the verbal argument was over the female’s infant child. An investigation was conducted and it was determined the dispute was not physical. A report was made for file. | |

On Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 11:09am, officers were dispatched to a residence on Coopers Run in reference to a domestic argument. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the male and female involved and learned the parties were involved in a verbal argument over the laundry. An investigation was conducted and the male agreed to leave for the day. A report was made for file. | |

On Saturday, February 17, 2007, at approximately 8:30pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on East Street in reference to a domestic dispute between brothers. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainant who advised his brother is highly intoxicated and he is concerned about his children being around him. He stated he did not wish to pursue charges, he just wanted an officer to remedy the situation. The intoxicated brother was agreed to go to a friend’s house for the evening. |
