On Tuesday, February 12, 2008, an officer was dispatched to a residence on East Martin Street in reference to an unruly juvenile.  Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the complainants who stated their grandson came home suspended from school and was being unruly towards them.  An investigation was conducted and a report was forwarded to Children’s Services for review.

On Friday, February 15, 2008, at 10:18am, an officer was dispatched to the Sand Springs Building, Park Avenue, in reference to an assault complaint.  Upon arrival, the officer spoke to a teacher who advised she was assaulted by a juvenile student.  An investigation was conducted and the juvenile was cited for Felony Assault.

On Thursday, February 14, 2008, at approximately 10:00pm, officers were dispatched to the Amherst Fire Department, Church Street, in reference to an intoxicated male approaching the fire personnel.  Upon arrival, officers met with the intoxicated male, identified as Dean Hill, age 48 of Amherst, and an investigation was conducted.  Mr. Hill was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct Intoxication.

On Friday, February 15, 2008, at approximately 2:03am, an officer, while on patrol, observed a vehicle travel through the red light at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Church Street.   A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, David Repko, age 32 of Wisconsin, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Driving under Suspension, Red Light, Weaving and Obstructing Official Police Business.

On Friday February 15, 2008, at approximately 9:19pm, an officer was dispatched to the area of North Woodhill Drive in reference to a complainant following a vehicle that had been seen driving around in the area with a person on the hood.  The officer located the vehicle in the intersection of Cooper Foster Park Road and State Route 58.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The juvenile driver and juvenile passenger were both issued citations for Riding on the Outside of Vehicle.
