On Sunday, December 2, 2007, at approximately 9:23pm, officers were dispatched to the Home Mark Building, Cooper Foster Park Road, in reference to a complaint of a female screaming and a vehicle leaving the area. Upon arrival, the officers located the vehicle in the parking lot to the Amherst Plaza and an investigation was conducted. During the investigation, it was learned that a male and female had been involved in a domestic violence incident and the female had sustained injuries. The male, Richard L. Camille, age 47 of Amherst, was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence. | |

On Monday, December 3, 2007, at approximately 3:15am, officers were dispatched to Denny's, North Leavitt Road, in reference to intoxicated people causing a disturbance inside the restaurant. Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted and two females were found to be underage and intoxicated. Cynthia Dallas, age 18 of Grafton, and Melissa Carpenter, age 18 of Elyria, were both cited for Underage Consumption and Disorderly Conduct Intoxication. | |

On Monday, December 3, 2007, an officer was dispatched to the high school in regards to a fight between two students. Upon arrival, the officer met with the principal who advised two juvenile males had gotten into a fight in the hallway. An investigation was conducted and the juvenile found to be the primary aggressor was issued a citation for Assault and suspended from school. | |

On Monday, December 3, 2007, officers were dispatched to Target, Oak Point Road, in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to a Loss Prevention employee who stated the electronic's cash drawer of the store had several cash shortages. An internal investigation was conducted by Loss Prevention and the suspect, Eric Resor, age 18 of Elyria, admitted to the theft. Mr. Resor was arrested and charged with Theft. | |

On Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at approximately 2:15pm, an officer was dispatched to the area of Denny's Restaurant, North Leavitt Road, in reference to a male who was either intoxicated or was having a medical problem. Upon arrival, the officer located the male stumbling in the field heading toward Motel 6. The male was stopped, and advised of the complaint. He explained that he did not have a medical problem and that he was drunk. The male, Joshua E. Castro, age 29 of Reedsville, was cited with Disorderly Conduct Intoxication. | |

On Friday, December 7, 2007, at approximately 2:12am, officers were in the downtown Amherst area in reference to a male causing a disturbance. The male was later found urinating on a business storefront on Park Avenue. Officers made contact with the male and identified him as Thomas Boyette, age 25 of Amherst. Officers had further problems with Mr. Boyette during the arrest and additional charges were filed. Mr. Boyette was arrested for Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Official Business, Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct Persisting, and Disorderly Conduct Intoxication. | |

On Saturday, December 8, 2007, at approximately 1:01am, officers were in the downtown Amherst area on patrol and observed a male yelling and cursing at them. Contact was made with the male, Daniel Nelson, age 22 of Elyria, and he was found to be intoxicated. Mr. Nelson was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct Intoxication. | |

On Saturday, December 8, 2007, at approximately 11:18pm, an officer, while on patrol in the area of Motel 6, observed a vehicle operating at an unsafe speed and without a working licence plate light. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted. The occupants were found to be underage and intoxicated. Casey Copa, age 18 of Amherst and two juveniles occupants were cited for Underage Consumption. |
