On Sunday, April 4, 2010 at approximately 7:51pm, an officer was dispatched to Drug Mart, 300 North Leavitt Road, regarding a possible intoxicated driver.  Dispatch was advised by a witness that a vehicle drove erratically down North Leavitt Road to this location.  Upon reaching Drug Mart, the caller advised the vehicle struck a parked vehicle.  The officer conducted an investigation and the driver Jacqueline Buescher, age 59 of Lorain, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated and Reckless Operation on Private Property.

On Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at 11:01pm, officers were dispatched to the area of f Jackson St. and Park Ave. in reference to a disturbing the peace complaint involving juveniles that were drinking outside of one of the apartments.  While en route to the call dispatch informed officers that there was some type of altercation that now took place and that someone was possibly struck by a vehicle.  As officers arrived in the area several parties ran up to the porch of a residence.  Officers made contact with the individuals and an investigation was conducted.  Two 14 year old females were cited for Curfew.  Another 14 year old female was cited for Curfew and Underage Consumption.

On Friday, April 9, 2010, at 7:44pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on North Main Street in regards to an assault complaint.  Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant who advised that his estranged girlfriend assaulted him during the visit.  An investigation was conducted and the suspect, Niccole Gould, age 35 of Amherst, was later arrested and charged with Assault.  

On Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 1:32am, an officer, while on patrol in the area of Cleveland Avenue and North Leavitt Road, observed a vehicle weaving from north to south within it's lane of travel.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Breanne Gueth, age 23 of Vermilion, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .08%, Possession of Marijuana, Weaving, Driving in Marked Lanes, and License Plate Light. 

On Saturday, April 10, 2010, at approximately 4:08am, officers were dispatched to a residence on Mill Avenue in reference to an unwanted female inside of the residence.  While en route, dispatch advised that the female had left the residence in a dark in color small pick up truck.  The female, Shannon Perry, age 30 of Lorain, was located and a traffic stop was initiated on Park Avenue and Henry Street.  An investigation was completed and Ms. Perry was arrested and charged with Burglary, Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, Driving under Suspension, BAC over .170%, Unsafe Vehicle, Menacing, Criminal Trespass, Criminal Trespass, and Disturbing the Peace.

On Saturday, April 10, 2010, at approximately 11:48pm, officers were dispatched to Taco Bell, North Leavitt Road, in regards to a complaint of two males consuming intoxicating beverages in a motor vehicle.  Upon arrival, officers made contact with the males and conducted an investigation.  John Fortney, age 20 of Lorain, was cited for Underage Consumption.
