On Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at approximately 11:31pm, officers were dispatched to The Pour House Bar, Park Ave., in reference to a female that had "trashed" the women's restroom. The female reportedly ran from the scene. Upon arrival in the area, the female was located and an investigation was conducted. As a result of the investigation Jacqueline Melendez, age 22 of Vermilion, was arrested and charged with Criminal Damaging, Disturbing the Peace, Disorderly Conduct; Persisting and Disorderly Conduct; Intoxication. | |

On Thursday, April 29, 2010, at approximately 4:08pm, officers were dispatched to Don Tequila's, Cooper Foster Park Road, regarding a disturbance call. According to the information given to dispatch, two females with a Super K shopping cart were at the restaurant and arguing with the staff. Upon arrival, officers identified the parties involved as being Angela Rice, age 34 of Arkansas, and Samantha Ehlke, age 30 of Lorain. An investigation was conducted and these individuals were later arrested for active warrants from other agencies, along with numerous other charges. Ms. Ehlke was formally charged with Obstructing Official Business, Falsification, Drug Abuse, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments, and Disorderly Conduct. Ms. Rice was formally charges with Illegal Use of Food Stamps, Disorderly Conduct Intoxicated, Possession of Drugs, and Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments. |

On Friday, April 30, 2010, at approximately 1:40am, an officer was on patrol on Church St. in front of Amherst Cinema speaking with a motorist parked on the street. While stopped, he noticed a male and female walking across the street from Church St. Bar towards City Parking lot #3. The male was holding up the female as she was walking and she appeared to be highly intoxicated. The female and male eventually walked towards a vehicle and entered it. A short while later when returning to the area, the officer noticed both parties were still seated in the vehicle. At this point, the officer decided to check on their well being to see if they needed any assistance. An investigation was conducted and the female, Sara Majzun, age 20 of Amherst, was issued a citation for Underage Consumption. |
