On Sunday, April 1, 2007, at approximately 2:55am, an officer, while on patrol on South Leavitt Road, observed a vehicle weaving within its lane of travel.  The officer initiated a traffic stop and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Avery James Lawran Jackson, age 18 of Elyria, was arrested and charged with Operating Vehicle Underage Consumption, Underage Consumption, No Driver’s License, and Weaving.  Two juvenile passengers in the vehicle were charged with Underage Consumption and Curfew.

On Sunday, April 1, 2007, at approximately 4:29pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on North Ridge Road in reference to an unruly juvenile complaint.  Upon arrival, officers made contact with the juvenile and his parents who advised that they were involved in an argument over the juvenile’s recent behavior.  An investigation was conducted and due to the juvenile’s actions in front of the officers, he was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence and Unruly Juvenile.

On Monday, April 2, 2007, at approximately 10:23pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on Cooper Foster Park Road in reference to a domestic dispute.  Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted and the juvenile involved was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence, Aggravated Menacing, and Unruly Child.

On Thursday, April 5, 2007, at approximately 10:13pm, officers were dispatched to Cedar Pub, Park Avenue, in reference to an intoxicated male threatening the patrons and not leave after being asked several times.  Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the intoxicated male, Fred Divirgilio, age 40 of Lorain, and an investigation was conducted.   Mr. Divirgilio was issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct by Intoxication.

On Saturday, April 7, 2007, at approximately 12:41am, officers were dispatched to Ziggy's Sports Pub and Grill, Park Avenue, in reference to an alleged table of underage individuals causing a commotion inside of the establishment.  Upon arrival, officers approached the table of and an investigation was conducted.  Two males, Richard Thomas, age 20 of Amherst, and Dionte Williams, age 18 of Lorain, were issued citations for  Underage Consumption and Disorderly Conduct Intoxication.

On Saturday, April 7, 2007, at approximately 1:58am, an officer, while on patrol in the area of Spring Street and Park Avenue, observed a vehicle strike the curb several times.  A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation was conducted.  The driver, Daniel Pedraza, age 22 of Grafton, was arrested and charged with Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated, BAC over .170%, and Weaving.

On Saturday, April 7, 2007, at approximately 2:29am, officers were dispatched to a residence on Orchard Hill Drive in reference to the house being egged by several juveniles.  Upon arrival, the officers approached three juveniles who took off running.  After a short foot chase, the juveniles were located and taken into custody.  All three were issued citations for Obstructing Official Business, Criminal Mischief, and Curfew.  They cleaned up the eggs and released to their parents.

On Saturday, April 7, 2007 at approximately 4:29pm, officers were dispatched to a residence on East Martin Avenue in reference to an unruly child complaint.  Upon arrival, the officers met with the complainant who stated his juvenile grandson was throwing things at his brother and was acting out of control.  An investigation was conducted and the juvenile was issued a citation for Unruly Juvenile.

On Saturday, April 7, 2007, at approximately 11:23pm, an officer was dispatched to a residence on Autumn Drive in reference to a barking/howling dog complaint.  Upon arrival, the officer met with the homeowner, Justin Howard, age 23, and an investigation was conducted.  Mr. Howard was issued a citation for Barking/Howling Dogs.
